WHAT'S THIS

Bees, unlike many insects, produce by themselves the material to build their nests: wax.

They use it to build honeycombs, where in those internal structures consisting of small hexagonal cells,

both the development from the egg to the adult individual takes place, and they are also used to store pollen and honey for their nourishment.

The "ceripare" Bees, able to produce wax and build honeycombs, are those from the 10th to the 18th day of life.

THE MOST COMMON USES

Used for its healing, anti-inflammatory properties, for burns, cracks, in hot poultices for arthrosis, rheumatic diseases and some types of neuralgia, to facilitate intestinal transit, to reinforce periodontal dressings.

In cosmetics it has an action above all on delicate skin, if dehydrated and devitalized; cleanses the epidermis and nourishes the skin. Become part of cleansing creams, emollient and protective creams, massage creams, eye shadows, mascara, lip pencils, lip glosses.

Waxes are flammable, and perhaps the most popular use of wax is for lighting. Unlike mineral waxes, organic waxes such as bee waxes leave no residue after burning.

HOW TO USE IT

Our BEESWAX is 100% NATURAL

and can be used in many ways.

Here are some ideas:

1) 100% NATURAL and VERY PERFUMED CANDLES

The most widespread use of beeswax is for making candles, since combustion does not give off dangerous substances, but on the contrary pleasant aromatic notes

Implementation: melt the beeswax in a water bath. Taking a very small part of melted wax, use it as a "glue" to fix a wick to the bottom of the mold. Then pour in the liquefied wax and wait for complete solidification

2) BEESWAX WRAP (waxed cloth for food)

Why not get rid of the plastic wrap and start self-producing

a beeswax cloth?

NEEDED:

• our purest operculum wax

• square of cotton cloth supplied

• greaseproof paper

• small manual grater

• iron

REALIZATION IN 5 STEPS:

• spread the cotton square on a flat surface

• grate the wax on one side of the cotton square

• place the parchment paper on top

• iron the parchment paper (you will notice how the wax begins to distribute itself on the cotton fabric)

• once dry, use the waxed cloth to store any type of food (lemon, onion, bread, cheese, ...) or to cover a container

Simply wash with soap and water and air dry!

It lasts really long and over time you can repeat the process

3) DO-IT-YOURSELF HAND or FACE CREAM

Melt the beeswax in a bain-marie (20 g), mix it with 60 g of olive oil and then with a teaspoon of honey; add 10 drops of an essential oil to taste.
