PROPERTY

It has a lower sweetening power than that of other honeys (e.g. acacia), rich in fructose, iron, copper, zinc, magnesium and manganese, vitamins A, C and some of the B group, lends itself to being an excellent ally for athletes . It has a purifying and detoxifying effect, it is also recognized as having diuretic and laxative effects and is particularly suitable for combating sore throats and coughs. We also recommend its application on
pimples and acne.

USE AT THE TABLE

For the delicate taste it lends itself to any organoleptic
use, both in the preparation of desserts,
like nougat, and as a sweetener
of herbal teas and drinks, which in combination
to some types of cheese (eg goat
and ricotta). Also widely used
for creams and sauces.

PRODUCTION 2020

Our judgment: RARE

This year's production was very limited due to the climate.

We still managed to produce this honey typical of our territory,

which in 2020 we define therefore certainly rare!
